After releasing the well-received Evangelion Final Model, CCS announced the details for the Evangelion Unit-02 Type II. Based on the original design by Yamashita Ikuto, CCS adds additional mechanical details to enhance the appearance as a weapon. The human body shape like outer armor and alloy frame makes the dynamic and natural poses possible.
Different from the close combat focused Final Model, Unit-02 Type II comes with wide ranges of firearms as well as the iconic 53 cm long Spear of Longinus with metallic red finish.
